SYNOPSIS

The Passionate Grower Hub emerged as an innovative solution during the pandemic, redefining how Canada's top master growers and industry-shaping cultivators connect. Originally conceived as a local event for Toronto, the unforeseen shift to a virtual format was met with skepticism due to the growers' hands-on, field-oriented nature. However, this challenge turned into an opportunity to break new ground.

Leverage technology

Leveraging advanced technology, the Hub provided an engaging and interactive platform that had never been utilized in the industry before. This virtual workshop successfully brought together about 100 of Canada’s leading master growers and cultivators, fostering a community that transcended geographical boundaries. Participants, who were not typically accustomed to online interactions, found themselves engaged in dynamic discussions and networking sessions, facilitated by innovative breakout rooms and immersive virtual environments.

Value optimization driven through empathy

The experience began with a highly interactive and gamified survey, designed to engage participants, highlight their strengths, and create optimal breakout groups. This approach ensured effective bonding and engagement, allowing everyone a space to interact while key expertise, knowledge, and insights flowed easily during the workshop.

Orchestrate success

The meticulous planning included strategic social media campaigns, detailed instructional design, and the use of cutting-edge event technology, creating a seamless and enriching experience.
